Disordered Roundtables - Live Small Group Anxiety Chats with Josh and Drew
Want to hang in in a small group (no more than 20 minute) to talk and share about specific anxiety and recovery topics? The Disordered Roundtable series might be what you're looking for.
We designed the Rountable series to be a series of actual conversations, not just lectures. You can almost think about these as "Disordered Live" where we can gather to discuss a specific topic of interest in an intimate virtual setting (wait, since when is Zoom "intimate"?).
In the interest of privacy and to facilitiate interaction, Disordered Roundtables are live discussions that are not recorded and not available for replay. The value is in the interaction, not just in listening or watching passively. Attendance is limited to 20 people to encourage participation. This is not intended as a lecture, this is a conversation. Your camera and mic should be turned on and you should be able and willing to actively participate.
Here are just some of the topics we have planned for the Roundtable series:
- Health anxiety
- Fear of insanity
- Common exposure mistakes and misconceptions
- What does an "attitude shift" even look like?
- Finding and connecting with the right therapist
There will be more, of course, and we'll repeat the most popular topics to give everyone a chance to participate.
The best think about our Roundtable series? Its not a monthly membership, or a subscription, and isn't yet another "community" that over-promises and under-delivers. It's just an honest discussion about topics that matter to you where you can find good information and hear the experiences of others.
Want to join one? Great! No other topics interest you and never want to join another? Cool! Not at all interested in ever attending a Roundtable chat? Also great! Pick what you want and leave the rest. We're just fine with that.
You can find upcoming Roundtable sessions here, or get on the Disordered mailing list using the form on this site and we'll let you know when we schedule our next topics and sessions.
